Man Utd Have Not Made A ‘Serious’ Bid For Schneiderlin, Says Koeman

Southampton manager, Ronald Koeman insists the club are yet to receive any “serious” offer for Morgan Schneiderlin this summer.

The midfielder has been linked with a move away from St. Mary’s, and United are believed to have taken pole position for his penmanship.

Arsenal are the other club to have come in the frame of potential destination for the 25-year-old, but Arsene Wenger has been reported as not willing to meet The Saints’ £25m asking price.

Koeman is however quoted by Sky Sports as saying: “We have the situation with Morgan Schneiderlin, we will have to wait what will happen.

“Until now, we have not a serious bid for him from Man United. We will wait, but OK- that’s business that normally starts from now.”

The French ace has scored 15 goals in 260 matches in all competitions for the south-coast side since arriving from Strasbourg in 2008.

United photographer recently intensified rumors of his possible transfer to Old Trafford, when he followed the midfielder on Twitter.
