Buhari-AmaechiThe Northern community in the South-South geo-political zone of the country has called on President Muhammadu Buhari not to forget the very important role former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi played to ensure his victory during the 2015 presidential elections in the country.

They therefore, appealed to the president to ensure that Amaechi, who was Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APCPCC), is appointed into a position that is commensurate with his contributions and sacrifices towards the emergence of the APC-led federal government.

Chairman of the Northern Community in the South-South zone, Alh Muhammadu Ali Kwande, disclosed this while speaking to journalists in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital yesterday, shortly after the meeting of leaders of the community, where they reviewed political events in the country before, during and after the general elections.
