Tinubu, Nigerians Deserve Commendation For Ensuring Change – House Of Reps Member-elect

Bola TinubuMember-elect for Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency of Jigawa State in the House of Representatives, Engr Magaji Dau Aliyu, has extolled former Lagos State governor and national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his doggedness and steadfastness, which saw to the successful merger of three opposition parties to form the APC, and the party’s success in the recently concluded general election.

Aliyu also commended Nigerians for their resolve to entrench quality leadership that can bring about development in the country by coming out en mass to vote during the last general elections and for particularly voting President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking in an interview in Abuja, the House of Reps member-elect noted that through the dexterity of Tinubu and other leaders of the party, Nigeria had been liberated from the stranglehold of bad leadership, which he opined stifled development in the country.

“We are grateful to Tinubu for his focus. He is one of the many Nigerians and leaders of our party who stood firm in their belief that change is possible in Nigeria and worked tirelessly to see to it that the change happens. The Nigerian electorates are also to be commended because they are the ones who made the change possible. They believed in our message and came out to vote and ensure that their votes counted to entrench change.

“The past 16 years of our democracy and the leadership we have had those past years fell short of the expectations of Nigerians and Nigerians were able to express their disenchantment with the state of affairs in the way they voted in the governorship, national, state assemblies and presidential elections”, he stated.
