Akwa Ibom State governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel may sell a private jet acquired by former governor Godswill Akpabio, it has emerged.

The governor, who apparently does not see the private jet as necessary for the oil-rich state is contemplating the disposal of the aircraft, Vanguard reports.

“Governor Emmanuel is not comfortable with the idea of sustaining the ownership of the jet and is contemplating selling it, more so, because of the slash in states’ allocations and the high cost of aviation fuel,” Vanguard quoted a State Government House source to have said.

Udom, had upon his assumption of office, promised more rapid development. The former Secretary to the State Government is believed to be planning to this by plugging all wastages.

  1. A vital question is, to whom is it to be sold? Sometimes, those who represent us in government could be funny! So that it doesn’t appear eventually that the governor is only playing out a game plan of his godfather who, might have bought the private jet for himself in d guise of the state, and then be auctioned to him eventually at a give- away price.

  2. of course like your web site but you need to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very bothersome to tell the truth however I will surely come back again.|
