Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is on his way to England to discuss personal terms with Newcastle United and possibly have a medical.
The Magpies are looking at making the 24-year-old Steve McClaren’s first signing in a deal which according to Press Association (PA) will cost €20m (£14m).

PSV technical manager Marcel Brands said: “Georginio Wijnaldum has left the players’ hotel in Evian-les-Bains. The 24-year-old captain is on his way to England to reach a personal agreement there with Newcastle United.”
Wijnaldumm who joined the Dutch champions from Feyenoord in June 2011, scored 14 goals in 33 league appearances last season.
He has been capped 19 times at full international level and scored in the third-place play-off win against Brazil at the 2014 World Cup.
