Governor Nasir el-Rufai on Wednesday announced the nomination of 12 commissioners to form the State Executive Council.
He also nominated an adviser of the United Nations Secretary-General, Ban-Ki-Moon, Muhammed Sani-Abdullahi and 12 other persons as commissioners and members of the State Executive Council.
This was disclosed in a statement by his Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Samuel Aruwan.
The statement said Abdullahi, a former adviser to the UN scribe on Designing Sustainable Development Goals, was nominated for the Budget and Planning portfolio.
The statement read in part, “In a letter to Aminu Shagali, Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, el-Rufai requested the legislators to consider and approve his nominees.
“The governor also attached the indicative portfolios of the nominees in the interest of a transparent screening process”.
