Kuranyi Returns to the Bundesliga With Hoffenheim

Kevin Kuranyi is back to the German Bundesliga after signing a one-year deal with Hoffenheim, the German club have announced.

The Germany international joins on a free transfer after seeing out his previous contract with Russian club Dynamo Moscow.

He scored 56 goals in 151 games for Dynamo, where he had been since July 2010.

“After five years in Russia, I’m highly motivated to prove myself once again in the Bundesliga,” Kuranyi told Hoffenheim’s official website. “TSG are a club with a great structure and huge prospects and I want to help us to meet them.”

The 33-year-old scored over 100 goals during his time with Stuttgart and Schalke.

Born to Brazilian parents, Kuranyi has been capped 52 times by Germany.
