Paris St-Germain have completed the signing of midfielder Benjamin Stambouli from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old Frenchman has penned a five-year contract with the French champions and becomes the fourth midfielder to quit White Hart Lane after the likes of Lewis Holtby, Paulinho and Etienne Capoue.
Stambouli joined Spurs from Montpellier last summer and made 25 appearances for the English side in all competitions.
“I am delighted and very proud to become a member of the Paris St Germain family,” he said.
“I wasn’t necessarily planning to leave the Premier League after one year, but when a club the size of Paris St Germain calls you, it makes your choice much easier.
“That’s the moment when you can experience the power of attraction surrounding this club. I will now focus on my preparation.”
He will join his new team-mates at their pre-season training camp in New Jersey.
