Authorities of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife have warned students to steer clear areas where the Oro activities being done as part of the final rites for the late Ooni of Ife Oba Okunade Sijuwade, would take place.
This was contained in a circular by the acting Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. (Mrs) Lateefat Durosinmi, on Tuesday.
“This is to inform the generality of students that there shall be a curfew in Ile-Ife on Wednesday, 12th August, 2015 from 9.00am to 4pm and from 11pm till dawn,” the circular read.
Durosimi urged the students to remain indoors pending the completion of the Oro rites.
