NFF Concludes Arrangements for Eagles Game in Tanzania

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finalised arrangements for its team ahead of a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifying match in Dar es Salaam.

The Super Eagles will play Tanzania on 5 September, hoping to continue in their bid to make the 2017 Cup of Nations in Gabon.

According to thenff.com, plans to fly the team into Dar es Salaam and back to Nigeria, with departure – onboard a leading Nigeria airline – from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and the return set for the Port Harcourt International Airport, has already been concluded.

Officials have hinted that the Nigeria delegation will fly into Dar es Salaam on the eve of the match, as Tanzania is a high altitude zone. They will, likewise, depart Dar es Salaam immediately after the match.

The NFF are believed to have also booked a hotel in Dar es Salaam where the team will put up.

While back in Port-Harcourt, the Super Eagles will play an international friendly against the Mena of Niger on Tuesday, September 8.

Nigeria and Egypt are tied on three points apiece at the summit of Group G having each won their opening games of the 2017 Afcon qualifiers, though the Pharaohs are a goal better than the Eagles following their 3-0 defeat of Tanzania in Cairo as the former opened with a 2-0 home win over Chad.

On the same weekend, the Pharaohs will travel to Ndjamena to face the Les Sao of Chad
