Nigeria Under-23 striker Godwin Saviour has passed a medical and is set to sign a three-year deal with Belgian club KV Oostende.
Saviour, who was accompanied by his agent to Belgium, had the medical on arrival in Brussels from Nigeria on Thursday.
They are expected to embark on a road trip to Oestende on Friday to complete transfer formalities, followed with his official presentation to the media and the team.
A special dinner is also believed to be planned at the KOV president’s house later on Friday.
Saviour was scouted by KOV during the recent Fifa U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, where he scored twice and provided two assists as Nigeria reached the knockout phase of the championship.
Oestende are top of the Belgian Jupiler League, with ten points from four matches- two points ahead of champions Gent.
