The All Progressives Congress (APC) has banned its support groups from holding meetings at the conference hall of its national secretariat in Abuja due to unruly and violent behaviors.

A letter signed by Abdullahi Gashu’a, Director of Administration of the APC said that the party directed the groups to use other places within the neighbourhood for their activities.

“We have observed with great concern the arbitrary use of the conference hall of the party particularly by the support groups. In as much as we recognised and indeed appreciate your efforts towards mobilizing support for our party, we are of the view that your activities will serve the interest of the party better when conducted within your neighbourhood.

“To this end, be informed from henceforth, no group would be allowed to use the hall for what ever programme,” the statement read.
