President Muhammadu Buhari is on a one-day official visit to Ghana today.
While in Accra, President Buhari will discuss regional security with his Ghanaian counterpart, John Dramani Mahama, according to a statement by the Presidency. He will also discuss trade relations with Ghana.
In his less than four months as president, Buhari has visited neighbours Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Benin, strengthening relations and building a regional effort against Islamist extremists, Boko Haram.
He is expected back in the country today.
