Famous reality TV star, Kim Kardashian has just lost her top spot as the most followed person on Instagram after Taylor Swift kicked her out of the position.

As of Tuesday, September 9, the 25-year-old pop star reached the peak with a staggering 45.5 million number as oppose to Kim’s 45 million.

The news may have come as a huge shocker to the 34-year-old pregnant star, who took to social media only a few days ago to celebrate her milestone with a snap of her ample cleavage.

She wrote: “45 million Instagram followers!!!!!! I love you guys!!!!!”

Taylor has yet to mention her meteoric rise to the top, but she did take to Instagram last week wearing a fan-made sweater with a Polaroid image of herself knitted on it.

Aside from her impressive social media fan base, Taylor has also topped Vanity Fair’s 2015 ‘New Establishment The Powers That Be List.

The country-turned-pop star ranked 11 places above her ‘running mate’ Kanye West and his pregnant socialite wife.
