The Sun’s Deputy Editor’s Wife Freed By Kidnappers

Toyin Nwosu, wife of Deputy Managing Director of The Sun Newspapers, Mr Steve Nwosu has been released by her abductors. She was kidnapped from her Okota residence few days ago.

According to Vanguard, the kidnappers dropped Mrs. Toyin Nwosu off near Zenith Bank by Festac bridge and sped off in a boat.

On Monday, the kidnappers numbering about seven had stormed Bale Street in Ogundiaro Bashorun Sunmonu Akanwo Estate, Okota at about 1a.m. They were said to have gained entrance into a building close to Nwosu’s house with the aid of an abandoned ladder used to paint the building. And in 30 minutes, Mrs Nwosu was gone.

It is yet to be ascertained whether ransom was paid.
