The upper chamber of the National Assembly has again excluded the name of embattled former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Ameachi, from today’s screening.


From the Order Paper of the Senate, it was gathered that only three of the nominees will be appearing before the lawmakers for screening as ministers.

Meanwhile, DAILY POST correspondent reports that there is confusion in the Senate at the first version of the Order Paper had 8 ministerial nominees including Rotimi Amaechi, but was quickly replaced with another one without his name.

The latest one which was circulated exactly as the Senate begins plenary has only the following names:

Barrister Shittu Adebayo
Claudius Omoleye Daramola
Khadija Abba Ibrahim
