Superstar Pop singer, Rihanna has finally opened up on how she truly feels about her ex-boyfriend who once left her with a broken jaw and facial bruises; She says, Chris Brown will always have a place in her heart.

The 27-year-old singer tells Vanity Fair magazine[November 2015 issue] in her latest interview that although she and Breezy are not dating anymore, she doesn’t hold a grudge against the ‘Deuces’ singer .
In fact, she has nothing but nice things to say about him in the lengthy article.

“I don’t hate him… but I will care about him until the day I die. We’re not friends, but it’s not like we’re enemies. We don’t have much of a relationship now,” Rihanna admits.

The 27-year-old famously got back together with Breezy in 2012, three years after he assaulted her before the 2009 Grammy Awards. But even after their wild history, RiRi says she still felt she needed to stand up for Chris to the public.

“I was very protective of him,” she tells the mag. “I felt that people didn’t understand him. Even after [the beat down],” she added.

In the end, though, she figured out she eventually just had to “walk away.”

But although she made that decision, it’s pretty clear from this interview that RiRi’s feelings were still there and shall forever be that way…. she’s just finally come to the realization that the toxic romance simply won’t work out.
