Biafra: SEE The Advice A Nigerian Gave Igbos On How To Pull Out Of Nigeria Without War

Biafran-Crowd

An INFORMATION NIGERIA reader, Aliyu Akeem thinks Igbo people who are agitating for the Biafra nation can go about it in a different way; other than violent protest or war. In lieu of this, he offered some suggestions on how they can successfully pull out of Nigeria without violent protest or war. Below are his suggestions;

Dear Biafrans I support your struggle 100% but my problem is your approach. I would want to suggest the following procedures and I can assure you it’s going to work out successfully. If you can unite and follow the following steps then I can tell, welcome to the Republic of Biafra in advance.

STEP 1: Withdraw all your services from Nigeria as you are the backbone of the country.

STEP 2: Withdraw your kinsmen who are public office holders e.g. Ike Ekweremadu, deputy senate president, Peter Obi the D.G of S.E.C

STEP 3: Reject all the ministerial nomination from the so called Nigeria.

STEP 4: Endeavour to reject Federal Allocation. You are very industrious people, you will be better off without it.

STEP 5: Stop all form of importation through the Nigerian sea port so that Nigeria will crumble without your Tax.

STEP 6: Recall all your sons and daughters from all parts of Nigeria to relocate home until this fight is over then Nigeria can beg them to come back as expatriate.

STEP 7: Lock up all your shops in Idumota, Alaba international, Kano main market, and every other market even in remote villages across the country.

STEP 8: Go beyond closing of the Niger bridge, stop all Nigerians from buying or selling in Onitsha Main market or Ariaria market in Aba.

STEP 9: Make sure you make your Visa very hard for Nigerians.

STEP 10: This fight can be achieved without Violence just like south Sudan.
Finally, make sure you don’t fight it with weapons. Igbo kwenu!!! hee!.

Funny suggestions aren’t they?!? What do you think of these suggestion; good for the cause of Biafra or not?

  1. That means self imposed sanctions, which cannot be possible because majority of them love money and will not adhere to make such sacrifice. For the love and agitation for the actualization of Biafra country.

  2. That’s good idea, I love your opinion but its unfortunate that is just ur personal opion. Had it been the President and Ex-Presidents and all the representative of army forces will come to table with your idea and put it in writting fully sign and copy to the slave master British then within one year every pin will be vacated first from North to the West if west will want our investment out their land. Be it known to you that biafra is not Igbo speaking, biafra is the entire fomer Eastern region so don rejoice hoping that Niger Delter will be left behind but rejoice only for your cow cus we can’t even buy your cow from you.

So do us favor to reach the president and convince him to buy your ideas.f

    • You are day dreaming, you better wake up from your dream, we the south south region would rather stay with Nigeria than align with the Igbo the most craft people I ever know. Lmao we will come be minority in your Biafra country God won’t happen

      • Nice one my sister people think cessation is divorce! It is bigger than that. The permutation is not a child’s play. Take a clue from The North and South Koreans, West and East Germany, North and South Sudan, South Sudan ravage by war on power sharing! While the west have found in Tinubu the Awoolowo of our time, the North has found in Buhari the Sardauna of our time, Tell me who is the Ojukwu of our time! The Igbos are daydreaming because of their greedy and selfish plan to robb the south-south. GBAM!!!

  3. These suggestions would really work. There may be violence to force the Igabos to open for needs, like food, but if they outright refuse… Then the aggressor is seen immediately. The main objective is not to start a fight, and do not retaliate…in the end, they shall be victorious.

  4. 1 question: Do d Ibos trust 1 anoda 2 b 2geda, as much as they do d’ Abokis dat secure dem n d’ r family in d’ r place of residence? We hav a group of hardwrkin n’ intelligent pple dat is handicapd by greed n’selfcentrdness. Compare ur plans wit d’ word of God, if u r carryin out His will, go ahead. Odawise,u wil b humbled, as pride goeth b4 a fall! We r dis, we r dat…make we hear wrd jor.

  5. What a brain suggestions/recommendations. That just remind me of a course “peace studies and conflict resolution”. Anyway may God show them the truth and grant them the ability to follow. God Bless Nigeria. United we stand.

  6. The igbos i think you people have big problem “greed” if u people are not in-charge then u r marginalized,u talked abt no roads in east, who was the minister of works during the last administration? An igbo, u talked abt power, who ws in -charged of pwr during the last administration? an igbo. instead of the igbos to protest against their greedy leaders like ochendo former gov of Abia they r lamenting against poor Nigerian destroying wht other south-south gov hv developed like in rivers state, they shd go to abia and imo and protest since their greedy leaders have looted evrything in the state they r looking for whr to transfer their anger, i petty them. they are looking for oil wells to dominate and looking for people to marginalize. you pple are wise to a fault, i petty you pple.

  7. It is time to do justice to this ill write-up by
Aliyu Akeem I want to believe you carefully
thought about your post that Biafrans should all
return home if they want Biafra. It is unfortunate
that many Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani are thinking
in the same line with you without looking
    inwards.

In the process of self determination, there is no
law that provide for this your ill thought-out
opinion. There is no part of United Nations
charter that support in part or full your opinion
that Biafrans in Nigeria should close their shops
and businesses etc in Lagos and Kano if they
want Biafra. You think like a cow that was
domesticated and was sent to school. Though as
a cow you understand the difference between
you and humans but you don’t understand the
    meaning of self determination.

Many countries have been divided since the end
of Soviet Union in 1991 and in all of these
    separations, none adopted your zoological
approach. For example, Scotland left United
Kingdom after a referendum supports its
independence. There was no arrest, detention or
jailing unlike Nigeria where the unity is forced.
Nigeria has no respect for her laws and that is
the reason it is called a ZOO. Also, the former
Soviet Union encompassing Russians and other
    ethnic nationals including Ukrainians, Uzbeks,
    Georgians, Azerbaijanis, Belorussians, Dungans
etc were separated in 1991 without this
zoological idea of Aliyu Akeem. Eritrea left
Ethiopia and zoological approach was not
employed. More recently, Sudan separated into
South Sudan and North Sudan without forcing
people to forfeit their businesses. I am sure
    United Nations cannot support this.

Aliyu Akeem think of how Lagos and Kano
would look like if you send Igbos parking. The
economy of Nigeria is pillared by the Igbo
Business men and women. Send them parking
and watch your economy crumble the more.
Countries have diplomatic relationships that is
why Americans, South Africans, Russians ,
Nigerians and all other countries of the world
could live and do business in other countries
provided they are given permit. @Hausa / Fulani,
Yoruba et al please ask Ghanaians, Americans, Togolese, Lebanese etc to leave their business in Lagos and return to their
    country.

The Southeastern and South south regions wants self governance but it is mistaken for resource control. However, if the suggestion Aliyu Akeem is to be adopted by Nigeria then all
Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba, and all other northern
ethnic minorities in Igboland must forfeit their
    business and return home.

    • Cletus, you Re dreaming. While I do not support the writer, I can clearly see that you are also simplistic in your beliefs. Most of the countries you are citing as examples of peaceful breaks here are nothing like Nigeria, and didn’t break peacefully. Do you know what led to the Soviet Union break? Did you know that each of the Societ countries were well established countries before Russia annexed them? So there was really no breakup. They just went back to the way they were. Your own Biafra doesn’t even have a clearly demarcated boundary, and those writhing what you are proposing are saying they will never go with you. You young guys who don’t know the implications of what you are doing can keep shouting. You should ask those who speeds cel the war if they wasn’t a repeat of such. My advice to you agitators is this: direct your agitation towards an Igbo presidency. I strongly believe that Nigeria s file for Igbo presidency and it is only hypocrisy to deny them. Buy if it is Biafra you guys want, good luck to you.

      • you table your demand we table ours too. Whether UN or OAU or ECOWAS as u may choose to refer to are all failures. What are their achievements. The war around the world is the struggle to dominate the other. Th US and d likes and u are referring to UN Ehhhhh! US ko UN nee.Who ever says he can not stay under the Nigerian rule should leave Nigeria for Nigerians. As for the the thought of owning Nigeria business, No It was an opportunity given to u and it will be taken from u and b given to others who will recognize an respect that. We know the roads to China, Dubai, UK, Italy, Spain, etc to import goods too.

  8. What a stupid write up. Akeem is nothing but a shallow minded individual. Nigeria need to disintergrate. The fact is,we are not one and we can never be. I suggest that the Biafrans pursue their seccession campaign through referendum not by violent protest. Nigeria is made up of three nations who considers their own interest first before considering that of Nigeria which is supposed to come first.

  9. To be frank, We igbo are not ready to be free. This Agitetors are mostle jobless igbo. That suggestion is the best to achive this freedom, but no one will ever try it. Ojukwu did try it, and my father told me the story 3 years pain. Igbos were given top jobs during gej admistration. But noting change in igbo lands. Even if biafra comes true, who will lead? Uwazuruike? Hmmmm. Mandela fights not to be carve out s/africa, but to let his people call up to the top. I think that would have been our fight. Let us stop this nosense

  10. We should have a Referendum in the South East, and if it passes, they should be given their rights of self determination. All other conditions are not necessary. Thereafter they will be treated like foreigners in Nigeria, subject to all the acceptable protocols.

  11. Very nice suggestions. I had once suggested this. The none indigbos in Biafra land can not forefeet their businesses as they aren’t agitating for autonomy, but would be peaceful foreigners in your land.
The aforesaid suggestions/advice are peaceful methods of achieving your aims.It will be full hardy and unseriousness on the part of this agitators to suggest that other Nigerians should write to the Nigerian government on their behalf to implement those ideas. Ordinarily they believe Nigeria is forcing them to remain in Nigeria.
Igbo kwenu embrace those suggestions it wil be better for you, instead of continuous lamentation.

  12. This myopic igbos with their claims Nigeria’s economy will crumble if the igbos leave, says who??? Why not ask if you would have bin successful businessmen widout the other tribes patronizing. D Pat Utomi and ur so great Ojukwu dat contested presidency some years back, if u wud be honest did u all igbos vote for dem? If u are not even unite enof to vote ur own people into power or if u dnt trust urselves enof to vote ur ppl into power den wot maks u think Biafra will stand d test of time if u eventually got it? I can see u are united in dis biafra struggle, channel dat same unity into campaign for an igbo president com next election and stp lettin ur emotions becloud ur reasons….av weighed the rationality behind dis seccession n I can personally tell u its not worth the try.

  13. @Clementus or whatever ur filthy name is, u have got ur facts wrong bcox Scotland has not yet seceded from UK, and where did u read that if Igbos withdraw there businesses from the North and Lagos our business will crumble? It appears u guys r kings of imaginations which has beclouded ur judgements. Which business r u talking about; prostitution, armed robbery, fraud, scam, 419, or baby factory. U better get to ur fuckin senses nd start lookin at the reality before u reach the end of the rail.

  14. O yea!, wonderful council indeed and I have this for.Next time he has issues with his, he should manage and over rule shout match or worst still blow. All he should do is simple, get two or three of your best friend and f*uck the hell out of her. That way she will learn to behave well and he achieve same through none violence.

  15. The advice is childish. The first advice should be that Biafrans stop all funds going to any other country like Nigeria. That Biafra take control of their natural resources and sales of oil etc from Biafran land and territories. On this note Biafra will not need to either reject or receive federal allocations

  16. I am an igbo, and currently in igbo land, Anambra to be precise. The truth is that we don’t know who is instigating this Biafra idea; our top political and traditional leaders are against this protest and no literate person here have given to that opinion so to us there is no input as regards to how to achieve Biafra now, anyone you see on the road protesting is a jobless Nigerian in the eastern region. We are Nigerians, we read the system of education of Nigeria and pursue after their certificates and bless the God for the developing country. On this aspect I want to speak politically. Concerning Cletus it is obvious to say that he is suggesting with feeble strength of his mind. Why do i say that because? I say because he spoke like kitchen women fighting over a pot of stew. The u.n cannot put that cockroach idea into use at all; if Nigeria should separate then its economy should be divided because we made the economy together but that’s not my point here. The ibos have being Ill treated in this Nation. My coinciding with the idea of not supporting biafra dose not suggest that is not worth fighting for but because we the Igbo are too busy to notice the Ill treatment of Nigeria and also “kanu” who is piloting the movement is nobody on the galleries of Igbo leadership. Igbos in this country have the least land ,mass and that why you find them in every part of the world. In as much as this country have not favoured us much we are still better, richer and happier than any other tribe or regions in Nigeria. We make Nigeria nigeria those not make us. Someone said about the former ministers being the igbo, I saw that comment to be coming from mediocre phase of thought. They were ministers of Nigerian for christ sake and not the igbos, they don’t ward contracts but the government dose(leadership, legislature and judiciary). During the last administration the northerns captured the Heart of the government through bokoharam attack and the previous administration gave in to satisfy them and still to the detriment of the nation because I can’t see any economy development they have attracted to the nation after that still they went worse. Within the last twelve years Obasanjo visited Igbo land “Anambar in qoute” about thrice just for opening of newly built factories not to commission any government project; Good luck visited twice for the same purpose too. Now let’s see what buhari will do. Biafra is in the world map and I believe someday it will come to pass without the igbos protesting but for now, Long live the Igbos, Long live Nigeria and Long live president Buhari as we looking up to him to show us what one Nigeria is all about through his approach towards the Igbos. The truth is that if our president puts it right soonest Biafra will be a forgotten issue. The Igbos are not comfortable with Nigeria because they feel deceived and cheated so let Nigeria show them that we are really one. Thank you everybody.

    • I still believe in my mind that no matter how useless u may think a people are some are still very useful. No matter how hopeless u think a people are some are hopeful, what ever u think u are some people are better than U. I choose not to condemn Igbos as a people because of you. U are indeed very objective and sincere. this is how I want people to have open and guided thought not using sentiment.

  17. 1. A Yoruba friend ask me: under what conditions would you support One Nigeria and let go of the Biafra agitation and let it died down and finally laid to rest for good ?. Here was my response:
    1. Close down Lagos ports and Open up PH, Calabar, Onitsha and Warri ports.
    2. Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to Lagos and Abuja airports…only local connecting flights will be allowed. While this is being done, open up Enugu, Owerri, Asaba, Uyo and PH to international flights…direct and major connecting flights.
    3. Ask all international and diplomatic missions to move their embassies and consulates from Lagos, Kano and Abuja to Enugu, PH and Calabar.
    4. All federal governments’ agencies in Lagos and Abuja shall be relocated to Enugu, PH and Calabar. CBN, NNPC, e.t.c shall and must relocate to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
    5. All multinational companies in Lagos and Abuja, shall and must relocate their offices to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
6.All oil companies must relocate their head offices to PH, as the oil capital of Nigeria .
    7. Let the northern children gain admission into federal schools with 300 score points while the South Eastern Children should gain admission with only 20 score points .
    8. Let all federal road projects in the North/SW should be handled by one local companies and the one in the SE/SS should be handled by Julius Berger and foreign construction companies.
7.. If these conditions can be fulfilled and implemented for 50years , we can try one Nigeria and let see if you the North and SW will like it for a month. Meaning, Yorubas and Hausas needing to get visas shall travel to PH, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same with flying or connecting flights, same with shipping and importing their goods, e.t.c.
The Yoruba friend replied: you can’t be serious, this is wickedness. I said really? Don’t you think South Eastern part of Nigeria have been suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for over 50 yrs? He was quiet for a few seconds and said: wow, you are right but it never occurred to me. I said, that’s the problem with One Nigeria, those who are benefiting from it, love it and would love to maintain the status quo. Let each region develop at her own pace , with airport, sea ports , industries , major projects open to be develop in any part of Nigeria without government interference or strangulation due to tribalism and nepotism !.Let Nigeria be fair to all irrespective of tribe, religion and place of birth. Let there be true federalism and resources control, with the elimination of quota system and federalism character in Nigeria .Let have equal respect for one another irrespective of where the person is coming from in Nigeria. That is what Biafra agitation is all about ..

  18. Late Ojukwu..is a very brilliant igbo he thought about all this you are saying before going to war with Nigeria what happen to him and is comrade they fail and what next he went into exile and left is people to regret there life uptill today some igbo’s haven’t recovered from the war nightmare..if you are advising them to proceed with such plan you are digging final grave for them and bring suffering to igbo land…if not OYA igbo proceed!!!

  19. The biggest problem with Nigeria/ Africa is the predominance of illiterates like as I have seen through the various comments. Majority of the persons who vented their views here, I find most views as prejudiced, paranoid and devoid of subjective tenets of order. They are blind and highly intoxicated with sheer ignorance of the provisions of the UN Charter for Secession as a veritable human right and the process to actualizing self determination. There is widespread political ignorance, people do not even know basic Nigeria history, nor their own rights eg. African Youth charter, nor any historical details hidden between the pages of books, so they talk off the effect of grave poor intellectual drunkenness, when great subjects and issues are at stake only a fool will count on the opinion of majority, who are naturally failures, no-do- wells to commit to such efforts and finally achieve it, for no man can offer more than they possess. Such is the fate of the writer hypocrite finger minded writer of this post above and as well all that have poorly yielded to this cheap gullible blackmail and pitiful propaganda. The turfs of greatness are no play ground for the simple minded. Only men of pluck, mettle and unerring courage can challenge and demolish dreaded standards and status quo that decorated with objectives and realities that show no vision and structurally sustainable solution that transcends to their future generations.

  20. No man is asking anybody to be a Biafran nor to share in their aspirations and dreams. I see it very shameful and a consequent effect of poor governance when young men with highly active brain cells live like dummies, only having others use their brains for them. When one now out of lack of opportunity to be creative and to be solution oriented, now settles for lazy meddling, tends to poke their/his nose into issues they have no value to offer. If you want to remain a Nigerian that’s your choice, and we want Biafra, that’s our choice, it’s unfortunate how men who have achieved nothing for themselves beat up their minds over other men’s dream. We mustn’t dream same or together. Hold on your views and abstain from discussing another man’s dream. Great men discuss great and think great affairs, while failures discuss others. Which one are you proudly reflecting?

  21. You people should know that not all Igbos are Biarans and should stop insulting Igbos in your comments, just as its not proper to insult all Hausas/Flani because of Gboko Haram. It will be decent enough to direct your comments to the exact people that are perpetrating the trouble, so that we do not invoke another ethnic/civil war that may destroy all we labored for since 1970. On the other hand, that money they want to use in fighting the so-called Biafra war, should be used to do what they feel the Nigerian Government failed to do for the Igbos. A word is enough for the wise.

  22. He should have advised same for afenifere when they said Yoruba will secede after Falae was kidnapped. The Oba of Lagos threatened Igbos earlier this year. Deji of Akure threatened to chase away Igbos in his domain. So now why complain. Or did this agitators say they want to steal Hausa or Yoruba land into Biafra. What a great height of dubious equivocation.
