Kogi Election: Osinbajo Storms Okene For Audu

Audu-OsinbajoThe political campaign train of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu received a massive boost as the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo (SAN) yesterday, stormed Okene Local Government Area in the state to campaign for the APC.

The vice president on arrival in Okene, headed for the palace of the paramount ruler of the area, the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim, where he commended the people for sustenance of peace in the area.

Prof. Osinbajo, who later moved to venue of the campaign ground, told the crowd of supporters that turned out at the rally to vote massively for Prince Audu in the November 21 election.

Addressing the supporters further, the vice president noted that people of Kogi could not afford to remain in the opposition, enjoining them to align themselves with government at the centre.

In his address, the man of the moment, Audu, pleaded with the electorate to vote for him, promising that he will provide the dividend of democracy to the people if voted into power.

According to the APC candidate, the PDP regime had misruled the state and promised to bring Kogi out of its present state of underdevelopment.
