Police said a Monday night dispute over toilet paper turned violent, and ended with a Muncie man’s arrest. Bryan Edward Alwine, 27, was arrested after police were sent to a home in the 1200 block of West First Street.

A woman identified as Alwine’s girlfriend said the Muncie man pushed her “so hard that she flew,” a city police report said. She reportedly landed in the street, striking her right knee and elbow on the pavement.

The woman said she and Alwine had been “arguing this evening over toilet paper,” adding that he “is very specific on what he likes to use.”

Alwine, preliminarily charged with domestic battery, was released from the Delaware County jail on Tuesday. He was convicted of residential entry in 2008.
