5 Travel Tips For You This Christmas

travel

It is officially five days to Christmas and a lot Nigerians have started traveling from one part of Nigeria to another to spend Christmas with their loved ones. Traveling during this period can be very expensive and stressful, so INFORMATION NIGERIA brings you five tips to enable you have a wonderful trip

– Leave early: Remember the roads are often busier than usual, especially on Christmas Eve, so if you  plan to travel from now till 24th, make sure you  leave, so as to beat the traffic no matter how it is and if you’re travelling by air, make sure to get to the airport and check in early.

– Don’t leave your house empty: While you are away, make it look like someone is home, so those burglars do start planning a break in.

– Travel light: Do not forget  that you’re only going to be gone  for a few weeks, not forever, so when packing ask yourself if you really need those extra pair of clothing you’re about to throw into the suitcase. Pack as lightly as you can because there is nothing as annoying as dragging a heavy suitcase from a bus.

– Don’t waste electricity: Just before you leave, make sure everything is switched off from the main switch as it wouldn’t be nice to be miles away then remember suddenly that you didn’t turn the pressing iron or heater off.

– Don’t advertise your travel: Do not go on the internet to announce your travel plans or allowing everyone on your street  know you’re going away,  to avoid your home from being burgled.

Now you know guys…Have a safe trip!!!
