Muhammadu BuhariThe Ansar-Ud-Deen Youth Association of Nigeria, a Yoruba Islamic organisation affiliated to the Ansar-Ud-Deen Islamic Organisation, has said that critics of President Muhammadu Buhari are hell-bent on frustrating him and adding to the sufferings on Nigerians.

The president of the group, Bashir Omipidan, stated this Thursday in Abuja, while unveiling activities lined-up for the annual conference of the association, coming up Friday at the Government Secondary School, GSS, Gwagwalada Abuja.

Omipidan, therefore, warned individuals and groups, who indulge in unnecessary and vicious criticism of the president, to refrain from doing so to enable Buhari concentrate on delivering good leadership to the people.

“ADYAN hereby remind those who are bent on not only frustrating our dear president, but equally ready to add to the sufferings of Nigerians that the citizenry have resolve to end their nefarious activities.

“ADYAN notes with sadness shocking revelation of how our supposed leaders milked this country prior to the 2015 election, posterity and legacy will surely judge.

“In this light ADYAN stand very strongly behind the Federal Government’s Anti-Corruption posture in all sectors of our economy. We are convinced that the war against corruption will be convincingly won soon”, Omipidan said.

He also expressed shock at the revelations coming out of the ongoing trial of former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki and other persons, saying it was an indication of the widespread corruption that characterized the immediate past administration.

The group also empathized with Nigerians over the lingering fuel scarcity, praying that it will soon be a thing of the past, but urged the federal government to redouble its efforts towards bringing an end to the suffering of the masses.

Activities lined up for the annual conference include a special Jumaat service, followed by visitations to hospitals, orphanages and prisons, among others.
