Police Recruitment: Don’t Fall Victim Of Fraudsters, NPF Warns Nigerians

mobile-police-officersThe Nigeria Police Force has again warned members of the public against falling for the antics of fraudsters on recruitment into the force.

This warning was contained in statement issued by the Force Spokesperson, Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Olabisi Kolawole, on Friday in Abuja.

The statement said that many Nigerian youths, desirous of enlisting into the force, had fallen prey of the antics of fraudsters by believing that recruitment was ongoing.

“It has therefore become necessary once again to inform members of the public that no recruitment is taking place now at the force headquarters or at any of our institutions, commands and formations”, it said.

The statement further advised members of the public not to fall victim by making payments to fraudsters disguising on Facebook and other platforms as agents of the Police.

It also advised the public to contact the police public relations officers in their respective states or the divisional police officers nearest to them about the exercise and other police matters.
