Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has denied rumours making the rounds that he was attacked by irate youth in Zaria, Kaduna State at the weekend.
In a short video clip posted by a Twitter account, @kaduna_project, the governor disguised himself in an SUV to visit Zaria but when the youths learnt he was the one in the dark tinted vehicle, they immediately gathered in wait with their sticks and other weapons.
From the 12 seconds video, a black-colored SUV is seen driving menacingly to escape the youths as they launch a vicious attack on the vehicle with their sticks.

However, the governor has denied reports he was in the vehicle or that he was even attacked anywhere.
In a couple of tweets denouncing the video clips as false, Mr. El-Rufai said the matter has been reported to the security agencies.
We are working for Kaduna State. Some others focus on inventing violence and false video clips. That is a matter for security agencies.
