President Muhammadu Buhari will be on vacation from today, February 5 to February 10, 2016.

In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution, President Buhari has sent a formal notice of his vacation to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

A statement by Femi Adesina Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity confirmed this.

Reports quoted sources to have said the president would see his physician during his vacation.

Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will be at the helm of affairs while the president is away.
