Finally, 2016 Budget laid at National Assembly
After much delay, the 2016 Budget was finally laid on the floor of the two chambers of the National Assembly on Tuesday ahead of its passage. At the Senate, the budget was laid but the chamber adjourned to today (Wednesday) after sitting for only 20 minutes. The adjournment was as a result of the death Musa Baba, a member of the House of Representatives from Nasarawa State, who died on March 17, 2016 aged 50.
