South Africa’s Zuma To Start Two-Day State Visit To Nigeria March 8

President Jacob Zuma of South Africa will begin a two-day state visit to Nigeria on March 8, the Presidency has announced.

In a statement yesterday, the Presidency said Zuma was travelling to Nigeria at “the invitation of President Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

“During the State Visit, President Zuma is expected to address the Joint Session of the National Assembly of Nigeria, and will, together with President Buhari, address the South Africa-Nigeria Business Forum”, the Presidency said.

Accompanying President Zuma on the visit are the South African Ministers of International Relations and Cooperation, Defence and Military Veterans, Trade and Industry, Home Affairs, Energy and Mineral Resources; Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, Rob Davies, Malusi Gigaba, Tina Joemat-Pettersson and Mosebenzi Zwane respectively, as well as a business delegation from that country.
