As the fuel scarcity bites harder, Capital Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited has announced the commencement of what it termed ‘massive’ 24 hours loading of petroleum products from its depots to ameliorate the sufferings of Nigerians, who spend endless hours on queues at filling stations.
The company, which stated this in a statement yesterday to its esteemed customers and Nigerians alike, said the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has imported several cargoes of petroleum products into the country.
It, therefore, urged Nigerians to remain calm, promising that the queues will disappear in no distant time.
The statement read:
This is to inform our valued customers and the general public that NNPC has brought enough fuel cargoes into the country.
Consequently, Capital Oil has commenced massive 24hours loading in a bid to meet NNPC’s target of eliminating fuel queues nationwide within the next few days.
We also wish to discourage Nigerians from panic buying and hoarding while calling on everyone to stop patronizing the activities of black marketers.
