He might not be as famous as the big names, but he was very relevant.

The fast-rising Fuji singer, Olumide Awise aka Baba Ogbon(Wise man) passed on after a brief illness.

Reports say that the Agege-based Fuji artist died in his home in Agbado, Lagos State, on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

Awise was immediately buried in accordance with the Islamic rites.

The Fuji artiste was also known for his Fuji Lori Reggae album on which he had featured renowned Fuji musician, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma.
