Barcelona signed Neymar from Santos in 2013 in a transfer which has been the subject of probes time and time again as prosecutors believe that the Spanish giants paid the player more money off the books than was declared.

Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed the club had accepted the fine as he said. “It was better to accept this pact than continue on with the uncertainty that has dragged on for a long time over the Neymar case,”
