An elderly couple in their 40s or 50s brought shame to themselves after they were caught shoplifting at a popular supermarket in Lang’ata, a suburb of Nairobi, Kenya.
To teach them a lesson and serve as a warning to the public, the supermarket management decided to parade them at the entrance of the store with the goods that they had stolen.
In their hands, they held up high posters reading ‘I AM A THEIF’.
