Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has announced that each of the 177 communities in the state will benefit from developmental projects worth at least N20 million.
Speaking at Okija, in Ihiala Local Government Area, where he commissioned an ultra-modern hall built for Union Secondary School, Okija, by a philanthropist, Dr. Paul Erinne, Obiano explained that the decision was aimed at ensuring that no community is left behind in the development agenda of the present administration.
According to him, community partnership with the government in improving critical sectors will help reposition the state for the better.
He commended Okija people for their desire to support government as well as promote their community to an enviable height.
Governor Obiano admonished other well-meaning citizens to take a cue from Okija people to promote and develop their communities as well as invest in the future of the children of the state for a better, greater and prosperous Anambra.
