Popular comic actor, Osita Iheme popularly referred to as PawPaw, has debunked reports that his relationship with his bestfriend and colleague, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly referred to as Aki, has deteriorated.
Osita who has seemingly been on his own since his ‘movie twin’ Chinedu, got married, has said the reports are mere speculations as they haven’t been offered scripts that will feature both of them.
Speaking with the Sun, the 33-year-old thespian said:
“There is nothing really going on between us. There is no movie to feature both of us so we have been doing our stuff separately. If any producer wants us together in his movie, then we shall do it as usual.”
On why he has chosen to remain single despite his bestfriend being married for over 6 years, Osita maintain that he is not going to jump into marriage because Chinedua is married.
In his own words:
“Marriage is not a step to be taken because other people are taking it. Even if the person is your twin, you don’t have to do it just because he did it. It is something you do when you are ready. I’ll take that step when I’m fully ready.”
