The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) was held yesterday, June 11, 2016, at Dr. Obi Wali Event Centre, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
High profile personalities spotted at the event include the immediate past Senate President David Mark, Governor Wike of Rivers state, and the Hon. Minister of Information Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
