Soldiers Must Remain Loyal To The Federal Government – Buratai

Tukur BurataiThe Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, has advised officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army to embrace the tenets of professionalism and loyalty to the Federal government as core principles of their duties.
Lt.-Gen. Buratai made the call at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery, Kachia, in Kaduna state, where he addressed officers and men at the prestigious training institution.
The army chief, who was at the foremost military artillery school to commission newly built students’ hostels, said soldiers must key into his vision of a new Nigerian Army.
“I am impressed with your activities here in NASA which is in line with my vision which is to have a professionally responsive army in the discharge of its constitutional roles”, said Buratai, who also urged the soldiers to “keep on the good job, be professionals and remain loyal to the federal government of Nigeria”.
The army chief, who expressed satisfaction with the quality of job done by the Commandant of the Nigeria Army School of Artillery under the 2016 barracks infrastructure development projects, promised to intervene in the rehabilitation of infrastructure in the school recently destroyed by rainstorm.
In a related development, Lt.-Gen. Buratai on Friday commissioned some blocks of accommodation for Corporal and Below soldiers as well as a newly tarred road named after him at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, also in Kaduna.
