The wife of the Emir of Bama who was kidnapped two years ago alongside her two children has been rescued.
Reports indicate that she was rescued along Damboa road following military operations in the area with her daughter.

Although journalists were not allowed to attend the reunion with her family, army sources say that her teenage son was killed by Boko Haram forces.
Bama is one of the towns Boko Haram siezed at the height of their reign of terror.
