Despite a report citing malnourished and starvation in camps created for Internally Displaced Persons, a concrete solution remains elusive.

Several reports of how Federal and state officials steal materials and food meant for IDP’s and resell them have gained traction, yet, very little has changed.

The latest reports indicate that as many as 71 trailer loads of rice meant for IDP camps in Adamawa state have gone missing just two days after the Adamawa state deputy governor flagged off their distribution.
Several local council heads confirmed that their camps received way less than allocated and in the case of Madagali, the camp received just 50 bags of rice (weighing 25kg each) instead of 250 bags (weighing 50kg each) allocated.
