Injury Update: Terrible news for Cristiano Ronaldo fans!

Report coming out from Spain says, Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the start of 2016/17 season as a result of the injury he sustained in Portugal’s Euro 2016 final win over France.

According to Marca, Real Madrid have given their star player a month to recover and he’s not expected to be available for them until mid September. That means the 31-year-old forward will miss Real’s entire pre-season campaign, as well as the European Super Cup match against Sevilla on August 9.

He’s also set to miss their league opener against Real Sociedad and a match in the following week against Celta Vigo.

He’s however expected back when Real Madrid play newly-promoted side, Osasuna.
