On this day in 2015;The West Africa Examinations Council, WAEC  threatened to withhold the results of thousands of students from 19 states who  participated in the May/June 2015 WASSCE over non-payment of candidates’ registration fees by their state governments.

On this day in 2013: In Northern region, vigilante leader, Aliko Musa, and his group stormed villages, to hunt Boko Haram members, but they retaliated with big fire power.  Five vigilantes and twenty civilians were killed.

Also on this day in 2013;The Lagos State Government said it would seal up any building where residents displayed their clothes outside indiscriminately

“We are telling residents who wash and spread clothes on the streets, major highways and other places outside their homes to desist from the practice as it constitutes a great environmental nuisance,”The Lagos State Government said”
