Bomb Blast At Pakistani Hospital Leaves 50 Dead

At least 50 people have been confirmed dead following a bombing at a hospital in Pakistan.

The incident occurred at a hospital in the Quetta district where a number of people accompanied the body of the slain President of the Balochistan Bar Association.

Bilal Anwar Kasi, the President of the Balochistan Bar Association had been killed in a separate incident on Monday morning. The blast occurred at the accident and emergency ward of the hospital.

The death toll from the incident is expected to rise as 50 people have been reported injured.

Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said: “The blast occurred after a number of lawyers and some journalists had gathered at the hospital following the death of the president of the Balochistan Bar Association in a separate shooting incident early this morning.”
