Nigerian Girl Wins 12 Out Of 15 Awards In Ghanaian University

A School of Medical Sciences in Ghana, The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, witnessed a historic moment since its inception with a record set by Nigerian Fathia Ayodele Kareem, who won 12 out of 15 awards to graduating students who distinguished themselves during their period of study.

Kareem, 25, an alumnus of the Wesley Girls High School, bagged the initial record of 8 out of 15.

It was a happy and proud moment for family and friends when she took several turns to receive the awards.

According to Ultimate FM, when she was asked if she expected to get the number of awards, she said: “Yes and No. Yes because I worked hard by studying and no because I did not expect to receive these number of awards.”
