Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity in a statement on August 14th, had said the criticism meted out on Muhammadu Buhari administration in the last couple of weeks are without basis-. The presidential aide went ahead to outline the many challenges of this administration and how the administration is rising up to the occasion but many Nigerians did not agree.
A lot of Twitter users showed their displeasure with the Buhari led government saying the government is more about propaganda than actual work.
