Philippines police have been warned not to pick their noses or take selfies while on duty.
The island country’s National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) issued a memorandum which reminds officers not to do anything that might create a negative impression among members of the public.
Apart from the aforementioned warnings, officers in the capital, Manila, have been told not to chew gum, smoke or even play online games during their shifts.
The list further specifies that any bodily itches must not be scratched, and officers should avoid “unseemly posture” such as standing on one leg.
The instructions are said to be a response to police officers posting photos of themselves on social media while on duty in the city.
Police leaders have repeatedly issued the no-selfie orders.
