Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata eager to join this Premier League club

The Real Madrid striker is still keen on moving to Arsenal this summer, according to reports in Spain.

El Confidencial, a Spanish newspaper, report that Morata is concerned that he won’t be able to command a regular spot in Madrid’s starting team, due to their wealth of attacking options, and is eager to move somewhere where he can figure more regularly.

The report indicates that Arsenal would be the Spaniard’s first choice should he depart the Bernabeu club. Arsenal’s toils in searching for a striker this transfer window have been well documented over the summer, with the Gunners failing in their pursuit of former Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is now at Juventus, while they also have had a bid for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette turned down.
