Rescued Chibok Girl Says She’s Missing Her Boko Haram Husband

Two years ago, the terror group, Boko Haram kidnapped 276 girls from the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno state. More than two years after their abduction, most of the girls remain missing, with their whereabouts unknown.Escaped Chibok girl Amina Ali Nkeki says she misses her Boko Haram fighter husband and is still thinking about him three months after.

One of the girls who managed to escape from the Boko Haram camp is Amina Ali Nkeki and she was found by some members of the Civilian JTF after she was found wandering on the fringes of the Sambisa forest.

Three months after her escape, Amina Ali Nkeki has said she is still missing her husband, who she was married off to and with whom she has a daughter. Most of the girls are believed to have been married off to Boko Haram fighters and Amina and her ‘husband’ were discovered together with reports suggesting they escaped the camp as a result of hunger.

CNN quotes Amina as saying “I’m not comfortable with the way I’m being kept from him,”
