As part of the day 4 training exercise of the ongoing “Operation Crocodile Smile” in the Niger Delta, 4 Brigade troops of the Nigerian Army raided a suspected oil bunkerer and militant camps at Afiagbene in Burutu Local Government Area of DeltaState.
but nobody was found.
This is contained in a statement by the acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, on Tuesday, he added that the raid was carried out in collaboration with the Navy but nobody was found at the locations.
He however, said, two generators, one locally made double barrel gun, one dane gun, three live cartridges and two pumping machines were recovered.
Other items include, one 32 inches LG television, one Kenwood amplifier and 4 X 50 litres of a liquid suspected to be crude oil at Ayakoromo junction.
