AfDB President To Discuss With Buhari, Adeosun, Emiefele Over Recession

President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, will arrive in Abuja on Monday to discuss how to stimulate Nigeria’s economic recovery.

This was disclosed by AfDB on its website.

Adesina, who will be on a three-day official visit will meet with President Muhammadu Buhari, Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun and the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emiefele.

Swift ways of strengthening the Nigerian economy and creating jobs for the teeming unemployed youths will be discussed.

This would mark Adesina’s first official visit to Nigeria since his appointment in 2015.

According to the statement on AfDB’s website, Adesina will meet government/policy-makers, the private sector and development partners to discuss the challenges facing Nigeria and highlight the AfDB’s commitment to further strengthen its partnership with Nigeria.
