Harnaam Kaur, 24, now holds the Guinness World Record for the youngest female with a full beard.
The bearded lady from Sough, England, believes that she is sexier and more feminine with her beard.
The Catwalk modelĀ saidĀ in an interview that she was bullied in school for having too many hairs on her face and eventually she embraced her body hairs after being baptised as a Sikh ā a religion that forbids the cutting of body hair.
She is suffering from a very rare hormonalĀ condition known as polycystic ovary syndrome.
She tried to wax, shave, and bleach the hair, which had also started coming through on her chest and arms.
The condition made her the victim of cruel taunts at school and on the street.
She even received death threats from strangers online.
However, after ditching the razor she has entered the record books with her six-inch beard.
She called the honour āabsolutely humblingā and said she hope it would help empower her message that women can be and look how they want.
She said: āI would never ever go back now and remove my facial hair because itās theĀ way God made meĀ and Iām happy with the way I am.
āI feel more feminine, more sexy and I think I look it too.
āIāve learned to love myself for who I am, nothing can shake me now.ā
The Guinness World Records released its latest list of records on 8th September 2016.
