Lagos-State-Commissioner-of-Police-Fatai-Owoseni

The Lagos State Police Command said they have arrested a 22-year-old suspected robber, Moses Akpan, who has been terrorizing residents of Oniru, in the Lekki area of the state with toy guns.

According to reports, Akpan, who was found in possession of a toy gun following his arrest had successfully dispossessed residents of their valuables on Oniru Market Road around 2pm on Thursday.

However, nemesis caught up with the Akwa Ibom State indigene, when operatives of the Maroko Division trailed him to his house and arrested him.

 

Confirming the arrest, the State Police Spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos, said a refrigerator among other items were recovered from the suspect’s house

“The case is under investigation and the suspect will be charged to court. The suspect has also confessed to the use of a toy gun for robbery,” she said.
