images3Google saw a surge in searches of the term “Donald Trump Iraq” during the third and final presidential debate yesterday, when Donald Trump once again denied that he supported the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

His rival in the debate, Hillary Clinton wanted everyone to know that’s not the case and begged voters to Google ‘Donald Trump Iraq’ for fact-checking…and they listened.

“Google it. You’ll see dozens of sources verifying that he supported the invasion of Iraq, and you can hear the audio of him saying it, the Democratic nominee said.

The audio the former Secretary of State was referring to is from a 2002 interview Trump did with Howard Stern, six months before the Iraq invasion. When the radio show host asked Donald if he was in favor of the Iraq war, he responded, “Yeah, I guess so. I wish the first time it was done correctly.”

Still, during yesterday’s debate, Donald continued to deny ever saying this. “I opposed going in,” he said. “And I did oppose it, despite the media saying no, yes, no. I opposed going in.”
